Materials Required:
Magnetic Train 1 Wooden 2 x 4. Approximately 70 cm long 2 Adhesive high strength magnet strips 70 cm x 1 cm x 3mm 2 plastic L brackets approximately 1 cm high. 1 wooden block approximately 3.28cm x 2.5 cm x 8 cm 2 Adhesive high strength magnet strips 8cm x 1cm x 3mm Instructions: 1.Lay down the guide rails with a separation of 1.28cm in between them.(Fig 2) 2.Use tape to secure edges at A and B as shown.(Fig 3) Lay down the adhesive high strength magnet strips onto the larger wooden block with the adhesive side down towards the block as shown in the diagram, The two magnet strips should be exactly 1.28cm apart. 2. Lay the smaller magnet strips onto the smaller block, flush against the edges lengthwise. (Fig 4) 3. Place the small wooden block between the guide rails, leaving enough space for the block to slide, but not enough for the block to flip.(Fig 5) To adjust the spacing of the rail edges, try putting thumb tacks against the rails on the outside.
